Renova / Retin-A for Wrinkles - 5 Stars!! Buy Renova online now, great price, online prescription, fast delivery
I was startled by how quickly Renova worked. After a week, I was greeted by a friend, "Your skin looks beautiful!"
I kept using Renova!!
It is great for wrinkle reduction. It is the only product that has been approved by FDA to make claims that it reverses aging effects on skin, reducing wrinkles, liver spots and bumpy skin. It not only peels the older layers off (which improves the APPEARANCE of wrinkles but we want more than that!), it also heals skin, stimulates collagen production and increases skin thickness (that can mean firmness)!
What more could you want? Well I got more... I got smaller pores and smooooooth texture. In fact, a few months later I visited my sister in the states and she was alarmed, "What have you done to your skin?!" like I'd had a laser peel or something! (It's a lot cheaper than a peel!) Renova is Retin-A - the same product with emollients.
The history of Renova and Retin-A
First, do NOT confuse Retin-A or Renova with... RETINOL. Retinol is nothing but Vitamin A and is extremely weak by comparision, though it definitely helps skin in some ways. You can get Retinol in drug store products. Retin-A and Renova, on the other hand, must be prescribed - or you can buy them here getting an "online prescription." That's what I did!
Renova and Retin-A have Retinoic acid or tretinoin which is the acidic version of vitamin A. THIS is the powerful stuff the FDA has approved as an anti-aging ingredient. Retinoic Acid, in general, (that includes Renova and Retin-A) reduces skin oil by shrinking sebaceous glands and unclogs follicles. It also increases epidermal thickness (very important!) and stimulates deposition of new collagen (that can mean filling in wrinkles!).
The names Renova and Retin-A are just names of products of which the active ingredient is retinoic acid.
What doctors often forget to tell you is that you MUST use Renova or Retin-A at night!
Retin-A is usually given to younger people, often for acne, because they have healthy oil glands and Retin-A is drying. If you are older and still have oily skin and pimple problems go for the Retin-A! My 24-year-old is using Retin-A and says it's cleared her adult acne almost completely. Moreover, when she scrubs the dead skin off, her face is as smooth and silky as her underarms!
Renova has added emollients, to hold moisture in, and is given to older people with dryer skin.
Retinol - What it does
Retinol is much weaker at skin renewal than Renova and Retin-A, but may have potent actions on decreasing excessive breakdown of collagen and elastin in the skin - so it's a fabulous prevent-wrinkle product. All that movement of our skin, the creasing and folding as we make expressions, leaves a mark IF our elastin isn't in good shape, and it's breaking down as we age. Retinol will help slow that breakdown of elastin. Retinol will plump up skin because it attracts water to the epidermis and a small amount of topical retinol is converted in the skin to retinoic acid. Retinol does stimulate skin repair in immune-deficient rats and rabbits so because the human immune system decreases in potency with age, retinol may help skin repair in humans over age 45.
